TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder)

There are numerous disorders that can affect the jaw and cheek area. Patients can suffer from a range of symptoms including clicking or popping noises to locking of the jaw. Often headaches and ringing in the ears can accompany this condition.

Back pain

We specialize in the treatment of both acute and chronic low back pain pain. This includes arthritis, disc herniations, spondylolisthesis and SI joint dysfunction.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis can occur in any joint in the body and is the result of with trauma or 'wear and tear' over time. Although arthritis in itself can not be changed the pain associated with often can.

Tendonitis/tendonopathy

Tendonitis can occur in any of the extremities. Once it has been present for over 8 weeks it is considered a tendinopathy. Common examples of this are rotator cuff tendonitis, achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow or jumper's knee. These conditions are treatable with rehab.

Neck pain & Headaches

There are several different causes of headaches. Physical therapy can treat tension related headaches. These are the kind that originate in the back of the head or neck and tend to radiate either along the skull or along the neckline. Headaches are a frequent symptom of neck pain. 

Disorders of the leg and foot

The biomechanics of the lower extremity are complex. There are a number of conditions that can result from muscle imbalance or weakness. We treat hip impingement, meniscal tears, patellofemoral pain syndrome, heel, foot or arch pain.
